kendra hess

Kendra was a Graduate Researcher for the GE3 group while she obtained her Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2023. Her research project investigated microplastic pollution due to municipal solid waste open dumping and burning sites in Oklahoma and Montana. Sloane Johnston

Sloane obtained her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Engineering emphasis from Oklahoma State University. She was an undergraduate research assistant for the GE3 group until she graduated in 2023, investigating microplastics in polluted soils. Aniko Konya

Aniko Konya was a Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2022 to March 2023. She graduated from the University of West Hungary in 2014 with a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering, then from Oklahoma State University in 2021 with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Environmental Science. VICTORIA HUGHES

Victoria obtained her bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Boone Pickens School of Geology at Oklahoma State University. During her time at OSU, Victoria served as a undergraduate research assistant for the GE3 group. Her research mainly focused on microplastics in soils. View Victoria’s LinkedIn

JESSE JONES

Jesse finished their bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science at Oklahoma State University. During their time at they worked for the GE3 group as an undergraduate research assistant, investigating the environmental impacts of microplastics.

VICTORIA FINNIGAN

Victoria finished her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Oklahoma State University. During her time at OSU she worked as an undergraduate research assistant for the GE3 research group, assisting with the investigation of the quantity of micro plastics that are in the influent, sedimentation process, and effluent of the OSU water treatment plant. XUEWEN WANG

Xuewen was a postdoctoral fellow in the GE3 group. Her research focused on the effect of microplastics on the biological process in wastewater treatment plants as well as other related projects regarding thermal/UV weathered microplastics. Xuewen attained both her Master’s and PhD degrees at Oklahoma State University. Xuewen is currently a lab manager at Washington University at St. Louis. View Xuewen’s LinkedIn

mason Egermeier

Mason obtained his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Engineering emphasis from Oklahoma State University in 2022. During his time at OSU, Mason was an OK-LSAMP research scholar and served as an undergraduate research assistant for the GE3 group. His research focused on the microplastic pollution of freshwater sediments and wastewater treatment processes. Mason now works at Meshek & Associates.  View Mason’s LinkedIn

Jasmine Quiambao

Jasmine has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. She graduated with Master's degree in Environmental Engineering at the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the University of New Mexico. During her time with the GE3 group, her research project investigated adsorption of heavy metals onto microplastics until she graduated in 2022.  She now works for CDM Smith as an Environmental Engineer.  View Jasmine’s LinkedIn
